Do you charge per user or seat?
No, we do not charge per user or seat. You can add as many users, admins, or budger owners you'd like to consume reports or to participate in planning.
What is a reporting package?
A reporting package is a static snapshot of your historicals and forecasts. These snapshots are immutable and function as reference point for the saved time period.
Does Basis integrate with data warehouses or data lakes?
No, not at this time.
Can financials within Basis be compared across different time periods such as quarter over quarter?
Yes, you can compare financials month over month, quarter over quarter, or year over year in Basis.
Can you give dashboard view access to clients and their department leaders?
Yes, we typically find that accounting and CFO firms provide at least three dashboards (e.g. Executive Summary, Department Summary, and Variance) to their clients. View-only access allows users to view reports but not edit.
Can we invite clients into Basis to collaborate on budgeting?
Yes, we designed Basis to facilitate collaboration. It’s our recommendation to involve budget owners and clients when gathering inputs and to set user access permissions by planning model.
